1985

Tapi Water Supply Scheme

First of all. Mr. Amirshabhai Patel saw that the people digging a three feet deep ditch in the city for water and then he decide to alleviate water scarcity. For this, with the help of the central government, Rs. 2. 22 crore sanctioned. For that, Hon. Mr. Makwana Saheb, Minister Hon. Sushilkumar Shinde and Hon. Mukeshbhai Patel provided great help. So the city’s Tapi water supply scheme was implemented and people started getting water twice a day. This scheme was completed in 03 years.

Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital

Built Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital 50 beds

Constructed a building for a television station

Built the main entrance to the city council

Built the mukeshbhai patel townhall

Municipal High School New Building

Demolished the old municipal high school building and erected a new one.

First Prize In Sant Gadge Baba Civil Sanitation Campaign- 2002-2003

Prize of Rs. 25 lakhs under Bharat Ratna Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Competition to Shirpur Municipality of Dhule District for outstanding performance at the state level in the year 2002-2003 under Sant Gadge Baba Nagari Swachhta Abhiyan.

Got first prize under Sant Gadge baba nagari swachhta abhiyan in maharshtra state

Created the Mukeshbhai Patel recreation garden

Developed Mukeshbhai Patel recreation garden with the facilities like Artificial lake, Boating, railway track, garden, walking track – 1 km, garden play equipment’s.

Water fountains in the city

Constructed water fountains in various squares in the city

2008

Sant Gadge Baba Civil Sanitation Campaign 2008-09

Shirpur Varwade Municipal Council was honored with a special certificate at the state level for maintaining ‘A’ grade at the state level under the Bharat Ratna Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Swachh Nagari competition in the year 2008-2009 under Sant Gadge Baba Nagari Swachhta Abhiyan.
